Wiebe Zijlstra is project manager of the ACCOMPLISSH project on behalf of the University of Groningen. He works as project manager at the Strategy Department for Education and Research. In the ACCOMPLISSH project his main tasks lie in the reporting to the EU and the finances of the total project. He has extensive experience with projects with universities in Africa and Asia and he is policy adviser on Africa at the University of Groningen. He has a background in both economics and social sciences (lifelong learning) which is of use in this project. At the moment his focus is on funding for both projects with universities in development countries and the research cooperation projects within Europe.
