Jorge Luis Méndez-Ulrich has a PhD in Health Psychology and Master Degree in Research Methods in Health Psychology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is assistant professor at the Department of Research and Assessment Methods in Education of the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona, and member of the FODIP research group. He has worked at the office of the Commissioner of the Rector of the UB for Participation, Employability and Social Entrepreneurship, were he participated and/or managed projects regarding the employability of the students, gender equality issues, participative processes and the teaching and promotion of social entrepreneurship. His main research interests are childhood in social risk, health education, the behavioral determinants of Health and Illness processes, on-line learning and cognitive determinants of motivation. He also collaborates in teaching and research with the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Open University of Catalonia.
