Ferdinando Fornara, PhD in Social Psychology (Sapienza University of Rome, Italy), MSc in Environmental Psychology (University of Surrey, UK), is associate professor in Environmental & Architectural Psychology at the Department of Education, Psychology, Philosophy of the University of Cagliari (Italy). He is member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Environmental Psychology (5-year IF=4.607) and of the Editorial Committee of the Bulletin of People-environment Studies. He is Representative of CIRPA (the Italian Inter-University Research Center of Environmental Psychology) at the University of Cagliari. He has been member of the Scientific Committee of various international conferences and held invited seminars on environmental psychology topics in various European universities, located in France, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and UK. His research interests include perceived quality of healthcare and urban design, psychometric tools measuring lay evaluation of design attributes, and normative influence on pro-environmental choices.
