André Caiado works as Project Management Officer at the Centre for Social Studies, where he is an essential support of the dissemination, outreach and knowledge transfer activities of the funded research projects of the institution. He has a Master's degree in International Economics and Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He is graduated in Political Science and International Relations from the New University of Lisbon. He also attended the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. His master's thesis analyzed the role of economic diplomacy and the usefulness of official visits for businessmen. The investigation analyzed the businessmen's perception about official visits’ goals, in promoting their firms and business in the markets they had visited.
